

In the 2020/2021 academic year, 10 talented USU students who have presidential and other prestigious scholarships were awarded diplomas of the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Specialized Education.
On April 18, 2021, 5 students of the Faculty of Physics and Mathematics who took an active part in the online Olympiad in Mathematics among the universities of the Northern countries, held by the St. Petersburg National Research Institute of Information Technologies, Mechanics and Optics (ITMO), were awarded diplomas 2 and 3 degree. They are:
Fayzullaev Bekzod, student of group 171 of the Applied Mathematics and Informatics direction, awarded a diploma of the II degree;
Karimov Hikmatjon, student of group 192 of the Mathematics direction, awarded with a diploma of the II degree;
Radjabov Rajabboy, student of the 181st group of the direction of Mathematics, was awarded a diploma of the II degree;
Ismoilov Islombek, student of group 193 of the Mathematics direction, awarded with a diploma of the III degree;
Yuldashev Bekzod, student of group 181 in the Mathematics direction, was awarded a diploma of the III degree.
Farkhodova Maftuna, a student of the French language department of the Faculty of Foreign Philology, took an active part in the international project "The Best Young Scientist of 2021" of the competition "The Youngest Scientist of the Year-2021", which was held in Kazakhstan in the city of Nur-Sultan, received a 1st degree diploma and was awarded a commendation a letter on behalf of the rector of the university.
The students' parents were also present at the award ceremony to share the joy of victory with their children. Speaking at the event, the parents expressed gratitude for the achievements of their children to the administration of the university and teachers.
