The Khorezm regional branch of the Agency for Civil Service Development under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, in cooperation with Urgench State University and the Urgench regional branch of the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan on May 24-28, 2021 and June 1-5, 2021 organized training seminars for lower-level employees working in district (city) khokimiyats in the framework of the visit of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan to Fergana and Namangan regions in 2021, to systematically train middle and lower-level employees of government agencies and organizations to work as "mahallabay" and "fuqarobay", as well as to convey to them the essence of the ongoing socio-economic reforms in the country, to ensure the implementation of tasks to improve basic knowledge and management skills in various fields.
The training were attended by district and city governors, specialists in finance, economics and poverty reduction and investment and foreign trade, chief specialists in industrial development, capital construction, communications and utilities, agriculture and water management, specialists on youth policy, social development and spiritual and educational work, as well as deputy governors on community and family support.
The training was conducted by professors and teachers of Urgench State University and the Urgench regional branch of the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, as well as practitioners invited by government agencies.
At the end of the five-day course, students were tested on their knowledge and skills. Special certificates were awarded to students who successfully completed the training courses.
