On December 14, 2021, the Faculty of Philology held the final round of the contest "Young Orators", which is held with the participation of advanced and talented students of the university.
The contest is aimed at encouraging university students to speak fluently and correctly in their native language, in particular, Uzbek, to further strengthen their desire to master the art of public speaking, to contribute to the development of the Uzbek language, to study and promote the work of artists, oratory in their works, to acquire knowledge about the culture of speech, to further strengthen the attention and respect for our state language.
In the first task, each participant gave all the information about themselves in a poetic or prose way, while in the second task, they demonstrated oratory skills on free topics that enhanced their speaking skills and encouraged them to think.
Each task was evaluated by the jury. According to the results:
1st place 191st group student Saparmatova Nodira
2nd place 213st group student Ibragimov Azizbek
3rd place 181st group student Khudoiberganova Tokhtajon
The winners of these places and students who actively participated in the contest were awarded diplomas and gifts by the head of the department "Uzbek Linguistics" A. Primov and of the faculties of the department.
