On August 14, 2019, the head of the Department of international relations of the Kalmyk state university Ochir-Goryaeva Angela Andreevna and the head of the Department of management Boldirova Saglar Borisovna visited Urgench state university. During the visit, a meeting was held between representatives of Kalmyk state university with Vice-rector for international cooperation Gayrat Urazboev, Head of the department of international relations Elyorbek Yuldashov, Head of the interfaculty department of foreign languages Feruza Rajapova, associate professor Otanazar Chupanov, as well as with two professors from Karakalpak state university. During the meeting, negotiations were held to establish partnerships between universities in the educational and scientific fields.
