On February 3, 2022, Urgench State University in cooperation with the Ministry of Internal Affairs organized a preventive event in the framework of the February "Month of preventing the spread of drug addiction among youth."
The event was attended by officers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Lieutenant Colonel A.Matlyubov, F.Azgarov, U.Ismailov, representatives of the Regional Department of Internal Affairs D.Shonazarova, Major Sh.Ismailov and university faculties, deputy deans for youth issues, tutors and students. The event was also available online for 300 students of the university.
At the beginning of the event, Sanjar Davletov, Vice-Rector for Youth Issues, Spiritual and Educational Affairs of UrSU, spoke and introduced the guests. After that, the reports of Lieutenant Colonel F.Azgarov, Lieutenant Colonel D.Shonazarova, AIDS Center employee A.Kochkarov, doctor of Narcology Dispensary D.Eshchanov were heard. Speakers spoke about drug addiction and its harm to the human body, who is a drug addict, what is the crime, what types of crimes are committed by youth today.
The meeting was held in the form of an open dialogue with questions and answers. There was an exchange of views.
At the end of the event, an educational film on the theme was shown.
