On April 6, 2022, a seminar-training was held at the Culture Hall of the University in cooperation with professors and teachers of the Department of “Translation Theory and Practice” of the Foreign Philology Faculty and the State Museum-Reserve “Ichan Qala”.
The meeting was opened by the First Vice-Rector for Youth Issues and Spiritual and Educational Affairs of UrSU S.Davletov, who noted that it is important for students to be able to provide foreign and local tourists with enough information about the history of our country so that they can be accompanied by a helpful guide, and gave some information about the history of our country.
The seminar-training was attended by professors, teachers and students of the Department “Translation Theory and Practice”
During the meeting, Sh.Mayliyeva, a researcher at the State Museum-Reserve “Ichan Qala”, and R.Tairova, a translator and chief specialist of the State Museum-Reserve “Ichan Qala”, provided students with valuable information on the topic of “Methodology of tour-guiding”.
The students asked the visiting experts with their interested questions and received relevant answers.
