As you know, in the framework of the Second Russia-Uzbekistan Education Forum in 2021, the rector of Urgench State University Bakhrom Abdullayev signed a contract on cooperation with the rector of Kazan Federal University Ilshat Gafurov.
In order to strengthen and further expand this cooperation, today, April 21, 2022, the Director of the Elabuga Institute at Kazan Federal University, dotcent Merzon Elena Efimovna visited Urgench State University.
During the visit, she met with the rector of UrSU Bahrom Abdullayev and vice-rector for International Cooperation G. Urazbaev. At the beginning of the meeting, they briefed each other on the current activities, capabilities and material and technical base of the two educational institutions.
After that, negotiations were held on further cooperation. In particular, Elena Efimovna made proposals on the establishment of cooperation in the field of pedagogy, the organization of exchange of professors and students, and it was agreed.
