The German Organization for International Cooperation and the Ministry of Innovation Development of the Republic of Uzbekistan plan to develop a concept for the development of innovation centers in Uzbekistan.
In this regard, today, April 26, 2022, experts from the Weinberg Technology Park in Germany visited Urgench State University as part of their visit to Khorezm region.
The guests were welcomed by the university administration. The official meeting with the delegation was attended by Z.Ibragimov, Vice-Rector for Research and Innovation of UrSU, Z.Boboyev, Director of Khorezm Technology Park and representatives of the Technology Park, scientists of the faculties headed by deans of Bioengineering and Food Safety and Technique.
Initially, Vice-Rector Z.Ibragimov said that Urgench State University cooperates with a number of existing German universities, including the University of Bonn, the Technical University in Berlin, the Weinstein-Triesdorf University of Applied Sciences, Martin Luther University, the University of Munster, Erasmus + and joint programs. He also spoke about Germany's relations with the Organization for International Cooperation.
Afterwards, the experts acknowledged that people in Germany can form their own businesses and start-up projects are well-organized, and said that they came for the purpose of improving the skills of specialists of innovation centers of Uzbekistan, their development and practical implementation, teaching German experience in the direction of scientific work and bringing the importance of scientific and innovative research to the population.
Also during the discussions, the director of the Technology Park Z.Boboyev and the Dean of the Faculty of Bioengineering and Food Safety J.Rozimov discussed the current scientific and innovative work of university scientists and the existing opportunities in this area, integration and experimentation between industry and science.
During the visit, it is planned to get acquainted with the Khorezm Technology Park.
