The regional round of the essay contest among undergraduate students of higher education institutions was held today, May 19, at Urgench State University.
At the regional round, 18 students from 6 higher education institutions in the region were selected. According to the rules, the theme of the essay was "New Uzbekistan in my imagination."
The opening ceremony was attended by the chairman of the Senate Committee on Agriculture, Water Resources and Ecology B.Tajiyev, officials of the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education, Hero of Uzbekistan A.Mahmudova, representatives of Khorezm regional administration, rector of Urgench State University B.Abdullayev, representatives of higher education institutions. They sincerely congratulated the young people who successfully passed the qualifying round and wished them success in the next round.
Students who take 1st, 2nd, or 3rd place will advance to the next round. Participants expressed their creative ideas in writing over a set period of time. Processes were organized in an open and transparent manner.
