Today, on the occasion of December 8 - the day of the adoption of the Constitution, an event was organized at the Urgench State University on the topic "Constitution is a people-oriented state, the basis of stable development and prosperous life". Professor of Public Security University of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Ph.D. M. Nurmatov, regional representative of the Ombudsman of Khorezm region O. Olloyorov, first vice-rector of UrSU D. Ibadullayev and students took part.
At the event, it was emphasized that the Constitution has a great place and role in the consolidation of the results and large-scale reforms implemented in various spheres of economic, social, cultural and spiritual life in recent years. The students were informed about the reforms implemented in our country to guarantee human rights, the essence of the "Human Rights" declaration. During the event, students' legal knowledge was tested.
