A meeting of the university management with Indian experts of CIMMYT was held

On August 26-30, at the initiative of Urgench State University, in cooperation with the International CIMMYT organization, in order to "create a sustainable ecosystem in relation to climate change and increase the flexibility of agricultural producers to the risks associated with climate change", resource-efficient for Western and Central Asia international training on agriculture is being conducted.

On August 27, a meeting was held with the participants of this international seminar, in particular, with the Indian experts of CIMMYT, university management led by the rector of Urgench State University, Bakhrom Abdullayev. 

During the meeting, discussions were held on conducting scientific and research work in cooperation in the field of agriculture, attracting experts to teach university students, sending university researchers to training and internship courses in India, participating in seminars of the CIMMYT center, and developing joint projects. 

After the meeting, the guests had a closer look at the Center for the Study of Indian Culture established at the Faculty of Foreign Philology. The guests were also introduced to the amenities of the 5th educational building of the university.
