Professors from Japanese universities visited UrSU

On September 7, Sekine Takemasa, professor of Nagoya National University of Japan, and professor of Nagoya University of Economics, Alisher Umirdinov, visited Urgench State University. During the visit, an official meeting was held with the guests and the Rector of UrSU  Bakhrom Abdullayev, Vice-Rector for International Cooperation G.O'razboyev and Vice-Rector for Scientific Affairs and Innovations Z.Ibragimov. 

At the beginning of the meeting, Rector B.Abdullayev gave information about the university's educational programs, opportunities, conditions created for students and educational processes, introduced the activities of the university and the new projects that are planned to be implemented. The guests also spoke about their universities and the place of the university in the world ranking today.

During the dialogue, further expansion of bilateral cooperative relations, establishment of professor-teacher and student exchanges, joint seminars for professors and teachers of both higher education institutions, at the same time, university students negotiations on the establishment of Japanese language centers for youngsters, proposals and initiatives of both sides were heard.

After that, the guests held a seminar for young scientists, researchers and students of the university. After presenting interesting information about the conduct of education in Japanese universities, opportunities for students, grant projects, a presentation was made on the topic "Legal foundations of the International Trade Organization".

In particular, the activities of the Uzbek professor at the Japanese university aroused great interest among the students. They received answers to their questions about the higher education system of this country, which is world-famous for its educational system.
