Today, in connection with "November 22 - International Day of Psychologists", the Republican Forum of Psychologists is being held at Urgench State University on the topic "Psychological health of students and youth in the digital world: problems and solutions" scheduled for November 22-23.
At the opening ceremony of the forum, the rector of Urgench State University, at the same time the chairman of the Committee on Science, Education and Health Affairs of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis, Bakhrom Abdullayev opened the forum with an opening speech, he emphasized its importance and the fact that psychologists' activities in our country are more developed today. Also, the expert of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation, Department of Youth Policy, Spiritual and Educational Affairs, Dildora Soliho'jayeva, and the professor of Tashkent State University of Uzbek Language and Literature, Odinakhan Jamoldinova, made a speech and congratulated all psychologists on the occasion of the date.
About one hundred psychologists from higher education establishments of the Republic and Urgench State University are participating in it. At the seminar, lectures are held on topics such as ways to prevent addiction to gadgets and social networks, formation of digital hygiene in higher education institutions, and the negative impact of digital addiction on the educational process of students.
In the second half of the day, the seminar will continue its activities in the form of practical training, divided into branches.
