On January 9, in the sports complex "Youth" in the city of Urgench, the regional round of the "Universiade" was held between boys and girls in the volleyball sport. In the competition, both teams of Urgench State University won with a clear advantage, leaving no opportunities for their opponents, and won a ticket to the Republican stage.
