Today, April 9, an event was held at the Faculty of Social and Economic Sciences of the Urgench State University named after Abu Rayhan Biruni on the occasion of the 689th anniversary of the birth of the most famous legendary commander of the Middle Ages, the founder of a huge empire, the head of the Timurid dynasty, Amir Temur.
At the event, the Dean of the Faculty of Social and Economic Sciences, Professor I.Abdullayev, also Associate Professor of the Department of History, and Chairperson of the Republican Women's Advisory Council Sh.Nurullayeva gave speeches about the diplomacy of Amir Temur and the Timurid era, the socio-economic life of the cities of Khorezm during the Timurid era, the rules of our great ancestor, and the role of his creative ideas in shaping the spiritual worldview of young people.
Also, artistic performances organized by students and youngsters of the faculty gave the event a special atmosphere.
