On April 22, 2022, a delegation from Dongshin University of the Republic of Korea visited Urgench State University.
Members of the delegation:
Jung Yub Lee - Director of International Relations at the Institute of International Education;
Oh Seong Rock - Dean for Student Affairs, Director of the International Education Center;
King Sejong - President of the Institute;
Johan Cho - Representative of the International Institute of Education;
Shavkat Sayidahmedov - Institute of International Education, Associate Professor of the Humanities Faculty.
The guests were welcomed by the university administration. After that, negotiations were held with the participation of the rector of UrSU Bahrom Abdullayev, Vice-Rector for International Cooperation G. Urazbaev and members of the delegation.
It should be noted that a Memorandum of Understanding was signed with the university in November 2021. Today's visit laid the foundation for further strengthening cooperation.
During the meeting, an agreement was signed between the two universities, which provides a number of benefits. In particular, both universities agreed to develop cooperation in areas of mutual interest on the basis of equality and mutual interest, to establish student and faculty exchanges.
