As we previously reported, Dr. Michael Zierdt and Dorothy Kleig, professors of the German Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg, visited our university on May 8-11 this year.
During these days, the guests got to know our university. In particular, they got acquainted with the projects being carried out at the KRASS Agroconsultation Center and also visited the laboratories of the Departments of "Soil Science and Agronomy", "Geography", "Biology" and "Chemistry" and witnessed the opportunities and conditions there.
As a result of the meeting, today, May 11, they met with UrSU rector Bahrom Abdullayev and agreed on strengthening cooperation between the two universities. In particular, it was agreed to establish cooperation programs for research and student exchange with the faculties of Natural Sciences, Bioengineering and Food Safety.
Also, opinions were expressed on the further development of academic and cultural cooperation developed in 2020 between Martin Luther University and the Faculty of Natural Sciences of Urganch State University.
