On March 20, a roundtable discussion titled “Corruption — an Obstacle to Progress” was held with the participation of 3rd-year students from the Plant Protection, Biotechnology, and Geography departments of the Faculty of Natural and Agricultural Sciences.
The meeting was attended by the head of the “Compliance Control” Department for Combating Corruption, Ms. X. Shikhova, who engaged in a discussion with the students on the topic.
In addition, during the meeting, opinions were expressed regarding the expanded session held on March 5 of this year under the chairmanship of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, which focused on the effectiveness of anti-corruption efforts and the key priorities moving forward.
