Today, on May 19, the Republican Seminar on the topic “Women’s Rights and Security: Modern Threats and Solutions” is being held at the Urgench State University named after Abu Rayhon Biruni.
First, the opening ceremony of the seminar was held. At the seminar, the First Vice-Rector of the University, D.Ibadullayev, spoke about the relevance of today’s seminar and wished success to the training activities.
After that, reports were heard on the topics of "Human Trafficking: A Modern Threat and Women's Protection" by O.Kozikhanova, Chairperson of the Senate Committee on Youth, Women, Culture and Sports; "Women's Migration and Human Trafficking: Risks of Working Abroad" by M.Nurmatova, Deputy Chairperson of the Committee on Family and Women; "Improving Spiritual and Educational Activities among Women, Protection from the Influence of Destructive and Foreign Ideas, Mechanisms for Promoting National, Religious and Universal Values, and Improving the Social and Spiritual Environment" by M. Qaxharova, Deputy Chairperson of the Committee on Religious Affairs; and "Safety in the Online Environment: What Students Should Pay Attention to."
The seminar is moderated by Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor M.Mirsoliyeva.
