On June 14, 2021, the Faculty of Pedagogy of Urgench state university launched The Project “Youth Week” in order to discover and support the youth, implement the initiatives of President Sh. Mirziyoyev aimed at reading, expanding the horizons of the youth, to promote the development of leading personnel who will contribute to the development of our country in the future.
The opening ceremony of the project, which will be held from 14 to 20 June, was attended by professors and students, led by the Dean of the Faculty of Pedagogy J.Yarmetov. The event was opened by the Vice-Rector for Youth and Spiritual - Educational Affairs S.Davletov, who wished success to all the activities of the project and the students.
The songs sung at the opening ceremony of the "Youth Week" project gave the participants of the project a festive mood, energy, and enthusiasm.

Today, on June 14, the first project of the "Youth Week" campaign "Gift to my friend" took place. In order to further expand the horizons of the youth, to support the initiatives of the President on reading, the Faculty of Pedagogy organized a book fair and an exhibition by the publishing house "Nihol".
During the exhibition, students got acquainted with the newly published books, presented books to friends and relatives. They also bought fiction books for their personal bookshelves.
"Youth Week" projects will continue.
