On August 4, a delegation from California state university visited Urgench state university.
At the beginning of the visit, the Rector of Urgench State University Bahrom Abdullayev received the members of the delegation: Advisor to the President of California State University, Professor Morteza Rahmatian, Professor Marcia Kathryn Lucas and Professor Zoir Ibragimov, and discussed the importance of further strengthening cooperation, the development of cooperation between the two universities in the field of education and science, the training of highly qualified specialists.
After that, the members of the delegation met with university professors at the Culture Hall of UrSU, where Professor Morteza Rahmatian made a presentation on the current activities of the California State University, its internal structure, educational processes, opportunities and conditions for students.
In the afternoon, a round table discussion was organized with professors and teachers of the Faculty of Tourism and Economics. The meeting was held in the form of questions-answers, and exchange of experiences, they shared information about the use of modern teaching methods and systems, the use of innovative technologies in education, improvement of curricula and programs, exchange of experiences, short-term scientific and educational internships and training for teachers, staff, doctoral students and masters, organization of scientific conferences and scientific seminars.
