Jun Takahashi, General Manager of the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO) in Uzbekistan, visited Urgench State University today to get acquainted with the activities of the university during his visit to Khorezm region on January 18-19, 2022.
The guests were welcomed by the Vice-Rector for International Cooperation of UrSU G. Urazbaev. The meeting was attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Chemical Technology Sh.Kuranbaev, professors and teachers of the Faculty of Economics.
During the meeting, General Manager of the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO) in Uzbekistan Jun Takahashi briefed on the current activities of the Japan External Trade Organization.
G.Urazbaev, Vice-Rector for International Cooperation of UrSU and professors of the Faculty of Chemical Technology also informed the guests about the current activities of the university, its opportunities, conditions for students, modern laboratories and international cooperation.
During the meeting, the sides discussed issues of cooperation in the field of food technology, tourism and textiles, the establishment of a center specializing in the Japanese language and the involvement of professors and teachers.
