On April 15, 2022, Mr. Serge Bellini, Regional Attaché for Educational Cooperation of the French Embassy in Uzbekistan, and Dilshod Ahmedov, Director of the French Alliance in Tashkent, visited Urgench State University.
An official meeting was held with the rector of the university B.Abdullayev, vice-rector for International Cooperation G.Urazbaev, Vice-Rector for Research and Innovations Z.Ibragimov, Dean of the Faculty of Foreign Philology Z.Jumaniyazov. The sides discussed issues of mutual educational, methodological, scientific cooperation, preparation of projects under the Erasmus +, the involvement of French experts, manulas.
After that, an agreement on cooperation was signed between the rector of Urgench State University B.Abdullayev and the director of the French Alliance D.Akhmedov in the conference hall.
During the visit, the guest Serge Bellini met with the Dean of the Faculty of Foreign Philology Z.Jumaniyazov, Head of the Department of Romano-Germanic Philology G. Abdullayeva and professors and teachers of the department of French language education,and discussed a number of issues like to develop the French language in the region. The sides discussed issues of cooperation with French universities, opening new master's specialties in the region, further strengthening cooperation with the University of Poitiers, continuous development of language skills of professors and students, procurement of necessary textbooks in the field of education.
