Urgench State University has been included in the Asia University Rankings 2022 by the Times Higher Education. This ranking is a regional ranking based on 13 performance indicators of higher education institutions in Asia.
In this ranking, a total of 10 higher education institutions from Uzbekistan are included in the status of "Reporter". It should be noted that Urgench State University is the only university in the region among the universities included in the above ranking. All the other 9 universities are in Tashkent.
