In 2020, a memorandum of cooperation was signed with the Department of Romance-Germanic Philology of Urgench State University and the Westfälische Wilhelms-Universität Münster, WWU.

Currently, within the framework of this memorandum, the head of the department, Gulnora Abdullayeva and Arslon Matkarimov, are in Münster, Germany, for the purpose of improving their qualifications, getting to know the educational standards of the German higher education institution, the educational process, and conducting a scientific internship.

Gulmira Rahimberganova, a 3rd-year student of Philology and Language Teaching (German), is also studying in Münster in the spring term of the 2021-2022 academic year on the basis of this program.

The main purpose of the visit is to work together with the experts of the partner organization on the textbook project being created on the subject of "Interkulturelle Kommunikation" ("Intercultural communication") and to bring the necessary educational literature for our students, professors and teachers, how to organize independent work, train and integrate it into the Moodle platform. At the same time, the study plans and curricula of the University of Münster are being studied and it is planned to use them in the future at Urgench State University.

In addition, it was agreed to form a cooperation network in the educational and scientific field between UrSU, TerSU, BuxSU and the University of Münster in the future, and within this network, to improve the quality of German language teaching and to cooperate in scientific work.

As part of the visit, a 2-day seminar-training on "Interactive Competence" was held for our teachers.

During the visit, the issue of scientific cooperation with the University of Münster, including the study and internship of a number of professors, researchers, and practicing students at the Urgench State University, is being discussed. In order to pave the way for scientific cooperation for young researchers of the department, negotiations are underway with Prof. S. Reuvekamp and Prof. S. Günthner.

Arslan Matkarimov is also present at this university within the framework of the scholarship “Scientific internship” established by Urgench State University and the Ministry of Higher and secondary special education in order to determine the scientific supervisor, scientific direction and the subject of scientific work for his research.
