From July 9 to July 15, 2022, Professor Tiago Manoel Cabral dos Santos Barbosaand and Professor Luis de Suas Costas of the Polytechnic Institute of Braganza, Portugal, visited the State University of Urgench as part of the Erasmus+ program of the European Union.
Within the framework of the project, the guests met with young research teachers, masters and doctoral students of the faculties of Physical Culture, Chemical Technology and Bioengineering and Food Safety of our university.
Information about joint bachelor's, master's and doctoral studies was presented during the seminar-trainings and master classes. The opportunities of the Double Degree program for students at the Polytechnic Institute of Braganza were explained.
It was also indicated that the final deadlines for submitting documents to candidates for the 2022-2023 academic year are April 15, 2022 for the spring semester and October 15, 2022 for the winter semester.
Before leaving, the foreign scientists who came for the exchange of experience met with the rector of Urganch State University Bakhrom Abdullayev, thanked for the friendly attitude, favorable conditions and hospitality, and hoped that such exchanges of experience would have great results so that the agreements concluded between the two universities would be more beneficial for both sides.
In turn, Rector B.Abdullayev expressed satisfaction on behalf of the team for the visit and presented presents of the university.
