As part of the UNESCO project "Enhancing women`s business participation and income earning opportunities in ecotourism destinations of Aral Sea region", academic staff of the Faculty of Economics of Urganch State University (Olimjon Saidmamatov, Umidjon Matyakubov, Elbek Khodzhaniyazov, Ergash Ibadullaev) is conducting training in Ellikqa`la, Beruniy, To`rtko`l, Amudarya, Nukus, Muynak districts of of the Republic of Karakalpakstan.
The main goal of the project is to increase the knowledge of local women on the effective use of the available ecotourism opportunities of the region and to form entrepreneurship skills in the field of tourism.
Seminar-training sessions will be held in each district for two days and will continue until August 16.
