Odiljon Iminov, chairman of the Committee on Science, Education and Health Affairs of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan, visited the Urganch State University today, October 12, as part of his visit to the Khorezm region, to study the conditions created for the education of persons with disabilities.
As part of the visit, accompanied by UrSU Rector B.Abdullayev and First Vice-Rector S.Davletov, he visited the educational buildings, the Information-Resource Center, and the Student Residences. Students and staff were interviewed while studying the conditions. He was interested in the literature available for the blind in the library, and the quality of services provided by the IRC staff. It paid attention to the amenities and special facilities in the dormitory.
There also had a conversation with foreign professors and teachers.
