On October 17 of this year, professor of Altai State University of Russia, historian Yuriy Mikhailovich Goncharov, philologist Veronika Yurevna Krayeva visited Urganch State University.
At the beginning of the visit, philologist Veronika Yurevna Krayeva gave a speech to the 1st and 2nd-year Russian students of the Faculty of History on the occasion of the 115th anniversary of the birth of Dmitri Sergeevich Likhachev, a famous figure in the fields of cultural studies, philology and art studies, about the writer's life, teachings and scientific views on culture. He gave a lecture on "Culture - state of mind".
After that, the guests met with UrSU Rector B.Abdullayev. The meeting was attended by Mukhtar Ibragimov, the deputy of the Legislative Chamber, S. Khodjaniyozov, vice-rector for educational affairs, and O'. Abdullayev, the head of the "History" department. In it, the exchange of experience between the two universities, establishment of master's and doctorate forms of education, organization of scientific conferences, introduction of Russian language teaching in all directions were discussed.
