On November 14 of this year, an open dialogue was held at Urganch State University on the topic "Works being conducted at the university in preparation for the 1050th anniversary of Abu Rayhan Beruni." In this open dialogue chaired by the First Vice-Rector of Urganch State University S. Davletov, Director of the Museum "Memorial of Repression Victims" within UrSU, associate professor Y. Rahmonova, associate professor of the department "Theory of Building a Democratic Society in Uzbekistan", Ph.D. I. Abdullayeva, deputy dean of the Faculty of History R. Aniyozov , A. Samandarov, leader of the Youth Union of Uzbekistan UrSU PO, and students took part.
At the beginning of the open dialogue, First Vice-Rector S. Davletov touched on the essence of the President's decision "On the international celebration of the 1050th anniversary of the great thinker and encyclopedist Abu Rayhan Beruni" and gave information.
In particular, Urganch State University has set a number of plans and tasks in this regard. These include the deep study of the legacy of the great scientist, promotion of the incomparable role of the scholar's scientific heritage in the world of science, and deep instilling in the minds of students and young people that they should be worthy successors of their great ancestors by holding scientific-practical conferences and various events.
Speaking in an open dialogue, experts once again recalled the life and scientific research of Abu Rayhan Beruni. They noted that it is planned to further develop Beruni studies, publish scientific articles in foreign journals, organize conferences in cooperation with foreign centers. They gave their recommendations to the students on how to study the artist's work in depth.
At the meeting, the students were also informed about the work to be done in order to become the holder of the state scholarship named after Beruni.
At the end of the meeting, students received answers to all their questions.
