On December 2 of this year, Urganch State University Rector B.Abdullayev and Vice-Rector for Research and Innovation Z.Ibragimov visited Turkey's Dicle State University.
Rector of this university, Mehmet Karakaç, welcomed the guests with pleasure. At the beginning of the meeting, warm thoughts were expressed about the fact that Uzbekistan and Turkey have long-standing friendship ties, and the common aspects of the two brotherly nations. Rectors of the two universities informed each other about the foreign cooperation of the universities and introduced the current activities of the universities.
After that, a bilateral cooperation memorandum was signed between Dicle State University and Urganch State University as part of the meeting with the management of this university.
During the visit, they visited the Scientific Center of Dicle State University and the Faculty of Science, got to know the laboratories there, and had a conversation with students.
Background: Dicle State University is located in Diyarbakir province of Turkey and was founded in 1973. Education at the university is conducted in Turkish and English. The university has 15 faculties, 4 institutes and 12 higher schools.
