Today, on May 11, an open dialogue was held at Urganch State University on the topic "Conditions created for providing students with a dormitory, playing sports and meaningfully spending their free time at a higher educational institution."
It was attended by the university management, the editor of the "Murojaat24" internet publication Najotbek Masharipov, the editor of the "Khorazmliklar.uz" internet publication Farrukhbek Karimov, the university information service staff, students of the faculties of natural sciences and foreign philology.
In an open dialogue, Sanjarbek Davletov, the first vice-rector for youth affairs and spiritual and educational affairs of UrSU, and Alisher Atajonov, vice-rector for financial and economic affairs of Urgench State University, provided detailed information about the conditions created for providing students with a dormitory, playing sports, and meaningfully spending their free time at Urganch State University.

Today, Urganch State University has 7 student residences with a capacity of 2,800. All conditions have been created for students to live in these Students' dormitories, organize their free time meaningfully, and organize their vocational and entrepreneurship education. In particular, in Students' Dormitory No. 5, support for the implementation of business initiatives, startup ideas and projects of young people, development of business plans, provision of consulting, legal, accounting, and other services, organization of forums, master classes and seminars "Coworking Center" was established to be used by students living there.
Also, the student accommodation has sports rooms, where board games, arm strength equipment, and a fitness club are operating. In addition, there are football, volleyball, mini-football and handball fields.
The "Sports Club" of the university has more than 10,000 students. 17 types of sports clubs are organized in the club.
Based on the internal capabilities of the university, 9 free rooms were allocated and English and US language courses, a programming center, a craft center, an architecture and design course, and tailoring courses were organized. In addition, 43 students and 92 masters are working part-time at the university.

By the end of this year, the construction of 7 student residences and 4 sports fields in the territory of the Faculty of Chemical Technologies, construction and operation of 6 sports fields in the territory of the main building of the university in order to create wider conditions for students to practice sports are among these.
Also, during the dialogue, it was noted that in 2022, 3.5 billion soums worth of incentives were provided to 980 students at the expense of extra-budgetary funds of the university. It was reported that promotion works will continue in 2023.
