On April 28–29, 2025, the “Ideathon” competition was held in the Khorezm region to promote the development of the startup ecosystem and support innovative ideas among youth. The event was organized with the support of the Regional Department of the Ministry of Digital Technologies of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Khorezm branch of IT Park, and the Urgench branch of the Tashkent University of Information Technologies named after Muhammad al-Khwarizmi.
Members of the “Physics Innovators” club from the Faculty of Physics and Mathematics of Urgench State University — Shahnoza Eshimetova, a 2nd-year student majoring in Physics Education, and Faridunbek Allaberganov, a 1st-year student majoring in Information Security — took part in the competition. Their project received high praise from the jury, earning them an honorable second place.
The winners were personally awarded by the Minister of Digital Technologies of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Sherzod Shermatov.
This achievement once again demonstrates that students of Urgench State University are actively contributing to innovation and the advancement of digital technologies in Uzbekistan.
