In Urganch State University, as a continuation of the efforts to attract the youth to a healthy lifestyle and sports, on June 2-6 this year, the "Rector's Cup" sports competition was held for boys in football and for girls in volleyball.
On June 6, the winning teams of the "Rector's Cup" competitions were summarized and an awarding ceremony was held.
Bahrom Abdullayev, rector of UrSU, spoke at the awarding ceremony and recognized the young men and women who actively participated in the four-day debates and fought hard for the victory of their team, and wished them great success in their future careers. Vice-rector of Tashkent Institute of Textile and Light Industry Azamat Gulamov's congratulatory words for our student athletes were also heard.
After that, diplomas and medals, souvenirs and the main prize "Rector's Cup" were ceremoniously awarded to the strongest winning teams in volleyball and football.
The awarding ceremony was held in a high mood, with a festive atmosphere. The evening, full of continuous songs and beautiful dances, brought a lot of joy to the hearts of about a thousand students and the youth participating in the event.
