Starting from September 10, traditional open dialogue meetings between the Acting Rector of Urgench State University named after Abu Rayhon Biruni, S.Khodjaniyazov, and first-year students of each faculty have begun.
The first meeting was held with students of the Faculty of Sports Activity, Pedagogy, and Psychology. It was attended by First Vice-Rector D.Ibadullaev, Faculty Dean A.Khudaybergenov, and newly admitted students for the 2025–2026 academic year.
During the discussion, special attention was given to the state's current focus on the higher education system, the university's facilities and opportunities, the organization of the educational process based on the credit-module system, the importance of spiritual and educational activities, and the need for students to actively participate in clubs to make meaningful use of their free time.
The meeting was held in an open and sincere atmosphere. The university leadership emphasized that students should be active according to their talents and interests, take initiative, and make effective use of the available opportunities.
It is worth noting that such meetings between university leadership and students will gradually continue across all faculties.
