On June 19 of this year, a preventive event on the topic "Prevention of cyber threats, drug addiction and crime among the youth" was held at Urganch State University. University professors, tutors and students took part in it and listened to the lectures of experts in the relevant field.
The event was opened by the first vice-rector of UrSU S. Davletov with an introduction.
At the event, Lieutenant-Colonel A. Sapayev, an employee of the Investigative Department of the Urganch Police Department, gave information on cyber security, cyber crime, its meaning and nature, prevention of cyber crime, punishment prescribed by law for a person who commits a cyber crime, as well as information on prevention of crime among young people, prevention of torture in investigative processes, etc.
Also, understandings were given about the fact that drug addiction is the plague of the century and the negative consequences of addiction.
At the end of the meeting, the participants of the event received answers to their questions.
