With the participation of students and the youth of the Faculty of Natural Sciences of Urganch State University, the tutors of the faculty held a spiritual and educational event on the topic "Drug addiction - the plague of the century".
It was attended by the doctor of the rehabilitation department of the regional branch of the Republican Specialized Narcology Scientific and Practical Medical Center of Khorezm region, neurologist-narcologist D. Eshchanov and the senior operative representative of the Department of Combating Illegal Trafficking of Narcotics and Psychotropic Substances of the Regional Department of Internal Affairs, Lieutenant J. Zaripov.
At the event, special attention was paid to the measures aimed at combating drug addiction and its prevention in our country, the negative consequences of this disease, which is the scourge of human life, the psychological and medical condition of people who have consumed drugs, and the changes in their body, and extensive explanations were given to young people based on statistical data.
