In order to create favorable conditions for students to receive quality education at Urganch State University, a 7-story "Smart" educational building with 2,000 seats was built this year and is currently being equipped. The building is based on the requirements of modern architecture and urban planning, and the auditoriums are currently being equipped with the latest, modern equipment. This educational building has 51 classrooms, 12 modern educational laboratories for physics and biology, 8 lecture halls with 100 seats, 7 computer rooms and other necessary rooms.
Today, on August 3, the Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation Ibrahim Abdurahmanov visited the Urganch State University as part of his visit to the Khorezm region and got acquainted with this new educational building. Rector of the university, Bakhrom Abdullayev, informed the minister about the work being done on construction, beautification, and furnishing of rooms.
Minister I. Abdurahmanov was interested in the term of putting the building into use. He inspected classrooms, lecture halls, educational laboratories, student recreation areas, kitchens, computer rooms, rooms reserved for academics, and gave specific recommendations related to equipment.
For example, trees and flowers suited to the oasis climate around the building, growing gujum and red poplars, giving the lecture halls the names of Khorezm great scholars, academicians and university professors from Khorezm, creating a "Renaissance Hall" in the main hall of the building and enriching it with various books, etc. gave many recommendations that embody the image of a well-educated and educational provider.
Minister I. Abdurakhmanov also visited the physics laboratory, where he had a conversation with young scientists and doctoral students conducting scientific research on the parts necessary for the installation of solar panels. He was interested in the procedure of using Ultrasonic equipment used in the production of new generation solar panels imported from abroad. They shared their experience of integrating science into production.
