Yesterday, on August 13, a solemn awarding ceremony and a concert program dedicated to the closing of the traditional republican "Melon Carnival" festival, organized at a high level for our compatriots and foreign guests, was held.
At the closing ceremony, the main winners was awarded Grand Prix Khiva city (Jentra car), 1st place Koshkopir district (Nexia-3 car), 2nd place Tashkent region (Spark car) and 3rd place place Yangibozor district (Damas car).
Also, a number of districts and cities, organizations and institutions, farms were duly awarded in 6 nominations.
During the two-day festival, Urganch State University, which actively participated with its innovative exhibition, won the 1st place in the nomination "For the introduction of innovative technologies in melon production" and won a diploma and a motorcycle.
After the ceremony of awarding the winners, staged performances and a gala concert program by Azerbaijani artists and stars of Uzbek pop music were presented to all guests and visitors.
