Today, on August 28, the first meeting of the Council of Urganch State University was held before the start of the new academic year. Rector of the university, chairman of the Council B.Abdullayev and 69 members of the Council took part in it.
First, Rector B.Abdullayev awarded PhD diplomas to a number of teachers of the university, in particular, F.Masharipova, D.Yodgorov, S.Madaminov, and a medal and a certificate to M. Baltayeva, associate professor of the "Chemistry" department of the Faculty of Natural Sciences, who took part in the Korean international exhibition of female inventors "KIWIE 2023" and won the gold medal, as well as diplomas to the students who scored the highest points in the "Quiz test".
The following issues were considered at the first meeting of the Council:
- On approval of the work plan of the University Council and the composition of the Council for the new academic year;
- On discussion and approval of all types of work plans and regulatory documents for the new 2023-2024 academic year;
- On approval of the plan of youth issues and spiritual and educational work for the 2023-2024 academic year;
- On discussion and approval of the "Road Map" of the University Education Quality Control Department for the 2023-2024 academic year.
Elections and various issues were also on the agenda of the Council.
