On September 27 of this year, a roundtable discussion was organized with students of the Faculty of Foreign Philology on the topic of "Increasing the role of women in society, attracting more women to the judicial system and the issue of gender equality."
Deputy chairman of Khorezm regional court U. Bekturdiyev, regional court judges Z. Yaqubov, D. Murodov were guests at the event. Also, Chief Legal Consultant of UrSU Sh. Atayev, Head of the Department of Anti-Corruption "Compliance Control" H. Shihova and Chairman of the Women's Advisory Council Sh. Nurullayeva took part.
At the roundtable discussion, reports were made on the issues of gender equality in constitutional reforms, the essence of the international human rights norms of the United Nations, the role of female lawyers in society, and opportunities for women to work in the judicial system.
