Today, on October 18, a roundtable discussion was held at the Urganch State University with the participation of the regional representative of the Ombudsman of Khorezm region, O. Olloyorov. The university management, professors, tutors and students took part in it.
The first vice-rector of UrSU D. Ibadullayev opened and moderated this meeting, which was organized in order to further improve the legal culture of students and youth, to inform them about the latest developments in legislation.
At this meeting, the representative of the Ombudsman, O. Olloyorov, took the floor and spoke about human dignity, honor, pride, and interests, and about ensuring it, guaranteeing one's rights in practice, and spoke about that human rights are the highest value, and that human interests are at the heart of all adopted laws.
The Chief Legal Consultant of UrSU, Doctor of Philosophy in Legal Sciences Sh. Atayev informed the students about the reforms implemented in our country to guarantee human rights, the latest changes in the legal system, and the essence of the "Human Rights" declaration.
At the end of the meeting, suggestions and opinions of students were heard.
