Today, the Rector of Urganch State University, Bahrom Abdullayev, met with the winners and prize-winners who participated in the Republican final round of the "Five Initiatives Olympiad" and took pride of place.
It was attended by the first vice-rector of the university D. Ibadullayev, Rector's advisor R. Sharipov, professors and teachers of the Faculty of Sports and Arts, employees of the Sports Club, students from all faculties.
At the meeting, the rector of the university congratulated the winners of the competition and their coaches and wished them great success. He noted that the fact that the university national team won 1 gold and 2 silver medals during the competition process is important for the reputation of our university. He emphasized that the basis of achieving this result is tireless work and the contribution of teachers. He also said that all the participants of the Republican round will be rewarded. At the end of his speech, he specifically recognized the activities of the Sports and Arts Faculty and the Sports Club.
In turn, the dean of the Faculty of Sports and Arts, S. Kopalov, and the deputy chairman of the Sports Club, M. Rahimov, spoke and expressed deep gratitude to the university management for this attention and support.
