On November 23 of this year, an open dialogue was organized for media representatives, journalists and bloggers in our region on the topic "Higher education reforms: problems, solutions, achievements" at Urgench State University.
In it, UrSU vice-rector for academic affairs S. Khodjaniyozov, first vice-rector D. Ibadullayev, Rector's advisor R. Sharipov told the dialogue participants to improve educational processes in higher education institutions in the coming years, to provide quality education to young people based on modern requirements, to improve scientific activity and provided detailed information on the implementation of a number of systematic works aimed at capacity building at Urgench State University.
In the discussion, the reporter of Khorazm Haqikatii newspaper O. Rahim, the reporter of Murojat24.uz online publication N. Masharipov, the editor of Hurriyat.uz online publication Q. Eshchanov, as well as a group of students with a high interest in the media sector, were active with their questions.
During the dialogue, the participants expressed their proposals for expanding and developing cooperation between Urgench State University and the mass media, as well as for increasing media literacy among young people and opening a direction for training journalists at the university. In turn, the university management supported these proposals and invited media representatives to cooperate in this regard.
