President Shavkat Mirziyoyev chaired the video selector meeting on rational use of water resources and reducing losses in agriculture held on November 29 of this year in connection with the implementation of the tasks given to open a course in the field of water management in universities in Khorezm region today, December 7. Rector of National Research University of Tashkent Institute of Irrigation and Agricultural Mechanization Engineers Bahadir Mirzayev came to Urgench State University.
First, vice-rectors, professors and teachers of the Faculties of Physics and Mathematics, Natural and Agricultural Sciences, Engineering and Chemical Technologies participated in the meeting with the Rector of the National Research University "TIIAME" Bahadir Mirzayev under the leadership of the Rector of Urgench State University Bakhrom Abdullayev.
At the meeting, Rector B. Mirzayev made a presentation on the exchange of experience in cooperation in the field of agriculture and water management, training of personnel and increasing the prestige of universities. During his speech, while introducing the experience of "TIIAME" National Research University, he made mutually beneficial suggestions about providing methodical support and mechanisms for developing cooperation between the two universities.
After that, bilateral cooperation was established between "Tashkent Institute of Irrigation and Agricultural Mechanization Engineers" National Research University and Urgench State University in order to train personnel for the agriculture and water industry and develop science in the field. with the expressed desire to implement, a memorandum was signed in order to organize effective and mutually beneficial cooperation.
