The purpose of the meetings is to summarize the work done in the past 2023 on the example of each faculty, and to discuss the tasks to be performed in the new year and give appropriate instructions.
Today, on December 29, Rector B.Abdullayev met with the team of the Faculty of Social and Economic Sciences. All professors and tutors of the faculty participated in it under the leadership of the dean of the faculty I.Abdullayev.
At the beginning of the meeting, the rector warmly congratulated the team on the coming New Year. Noting the special achievements of the faculty, he recognized the pedagogues who worked actively during the past year.
The work done in connection with the scientific activity of professors-teachers was analyzed, as well as the relevant tasks were given regarding the quality organization of education, the improvement of foreign language skills of pedagogues.
It is worth mentioning that today a total of 6517 students study at the Faculty of Social and Economic Sciences. Currently, there are 123 professors working in the main staff in 7 departments. The scientific potential of the faculty is 45.2%. In 2023, 2 professors, 3 doctors of science, and 8 doctors of philosophy were defended.
