Today, January 3, Rector B.Abdullayev met with the team of the Faculty of Sports and Arts. It was attended by all professors, teachers and tutors led by the first vice-rector of UrSU D. Ibodullayev, Rector's advisor R. Sharipov and dean of the faculty S. Kopalov.
At the meeting, the work carried out during 2023 was summarized on the example of the faculties, and the tasks to be performed in the new year were discussed. The work done in connection with the scientific activity of professors and teachers was analyzed, as well as relevant tasks were given regarding the quality organization of education, publication of scientific articles in journals included in the Scopus database. The faculty team participated in the meeting, which took place in the form of open and sincere dialogue, with their thoughts and opinions.
For information, today a total of 1112 students study at the Faculty of Sports and Arts. Currently, 77 professors and teachers work in the main staff in 3 existing departments (25 of them are candidates of science, associate professors and professors, 11 senior teachers, 41 teachers and trainee teachers). The scientific potential of the faculty is 27%. In 2023, 1 Doctor of Science and 8 Doctor of Philosophy degrees were defended.
