Today, on January 18, a "Military Sports Games" competition was organized in connection with "Patriotic Month" at Urgench State University.
D.Ibodullayev, the first vice-rector of UrSU, and M.Rahimov, deputy chairman of the Sports Club, opened the competition and wished the participants good luck. In the competitions, students from all faculties tried their best in such sports as stone lifting, horizontal bar, arm wrestling. The main goal of the competition was popularization of sports and healthy lifestyle among young people.
The competition served to further increase the interest of students and young people in sports. The winning students were duly awarded by the university management.
