On February 16, 2024, at this meeting, which was organized in order to create a sense of intolerance against corruption among university students, regional court criminal judge Z.Yakubov, judge M.Makhmudov, judge D.Muratov, as well as UrSU rector's adviser R. Sharipov, the head of the anti-corruption "compliance control" system management department H.Shikhova and 250 students from all faculties of the university participated.
At the event, there was a detailed discussion about the work being carried out to further improve the legal culture of students and young people, the innovations in the legislation in the fight against corruption, the laws and regulatory documents related to the field and the implementation of them in order to prevent and fight against corruption in the university.
Also at the meeting, the judges discussed the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated January 3, 2017 No. 419 “On the fight against corruption” and the reforms being implemented in the region for its implementation, the latest changes in the system of responsibility for committing corrupt acts, and students were informed about their content.
