Today, on June 4, representatives of "Khorazm Sugar" LLC visited the university in order to establish cooperation with Urgench State University. First, the head of the Business Development Department I. Muradullayev and the head of the Strategic Planning Department A. Sobirov met with the rector of the university B. Abdullayev and held negotiations on signing a memorandum of interest for both parties.
The essence of the agreement reached between the two organizations is envisages to involve graduates of the faculties of Chemical Technologies, Engineering, Physics, Mathematics and Socio-Economic Sciences of Urgench State University into practice and to hire talented and responsible graduates, as well as to carry out scientific research on waste processing in cooperation.
After that, a meeting was held with the guests and Z.Ibragimov, Vice-Rector for Scientific Affairs and Innovations, K.Yoldashev, Head of Marketing and Student Practice Department, as well as deans and representatives of relevant faculties. The representatives of the enterprise provided information on the operation of the plant and personnel training, as well as cooperation with the university in conducting scientific research, and proposals and initiatives beneficial to both parties were put forward.
For information, "Khorazm Sugar" LLC is located in Tuproqkala district of Khorazm region and has been engaged in sugar production since 1998. The annual production capacity of the enterprise is 440 thousand tons.
